Religion - read the first three paragraphs of chapter 12 and then do activity book page 47. The last two questions will not be answered from reading the first three paragraphs. You will just know the answer, if not read further for your sake.
Reading - We read Island of the Blue Dolphins, chapters 4-6 stopping after each chapter to independently write three summative sentences for the reading. Remember to jot down good vocabulary words. There are many in the fifth and sixth chapters.
English - You will need to talk to Jack and or Peter regarding the work that they did today. We read and spelled the words for unit 8 into our planner. The weekly assignment has change: you will not write the words 5x each- You WILL just write one sentence for each word making sure the meaning of the word is mastered. For example: The angel spoke to Joseph. and A right angle is 90 degrees. Okay? !
Math - We learned about { mean, median, and mode} text page 282. Remember that when you are given a set of data (numbers) the first thing you do is put the numbers in order(small to big). Read over the lesson pages and see if you recall how to do these things. Come to school by 8:00 if you want help with this.
S.S - You have been sent the paper we'll be using and will notice that I drew on it the things you are to read.
Science - We finished reading lesson 1 and taking the notes for it. Work on the workbook pages 108, 109, 110, and 110A. You can just write numbers next to items on page 108. On 109 you will Agree or Disagree on the top portion and then on the bottom you will explain why you agreed and why you disagreed. Be ready for the lesson quiz tomorrow over all of lesson 1. You can copy notes from a pod friend.
Simple Solutions for the week are 77-80. Work on all of the above before attempting to do your #77. I am not worried one minute if you do not do #'s77 right now.
