February 21st-24th, 2012 Weekly Goals

Religion:   Chapter 17 Assessment.  Ash Wednesday and Lent.  Stations of the Cross.

Spelling:  Unit 23- Vowel Digraphs: Long and Short "oo"

Phonics:  Begin Unit 5-  Contractions with "will, not, is, have"

Grammar:  Compound words.

Reading: "Super Storms"-Nonfiction.  Practice vocabulary, oral fluency, predictions. Assessment on Friday.

Writing:   Uppercase cursive letters "N, M, H, K, U".

Math:  Chapter 5-  Double digit addition with and without regrouping, Use data from table, Mixed Facts Flashcard Showdown.

Art:   Working with textures to create a picture.

Science: Sound- pitch, volume, vibrate.

Social Studies:  Mardi Gras- celebrations.

Reminders:   We have Library on Wednesday. Nightly Reading Log- 15 minutes. Please be sure to check and sign your child's planbook every night.
